Well done to Isaac and Ava who took part in a debating competition at the Elizabethan Academy. They came second and we are extremely proud of them both. We had an excellent day at the Elizabethan. Mr White (the vice-principal) was with us all day and he was really kind. Before we went, they sent us some sheets that helped us understand how the day was going to run. They also sent us some sheets that told us what the first and second debate was going to be about. They left the third debate and the grand final a surprise. Luckily, we won all three debates and got into the grand final. In the first debate we went up against Carr Hill team 2. In the second debate we went up against St.Mary and St.Martin. Then in the third debate we went up against St.Joseph. Finally, in the grand final we went up against St.Joseph (again). Carr Hill team 2 were probably the best we went up against.
