Thank you to everyone who helped support our bag pack at Aldi on Saturday.  We raised an amazing £448 which we will use to buy extra bike racks for school.  UPDATE - Bike racks have been ordered and we are waiting for delivery of them - we can't wait! UPDATE - The bike racks have been delivered and Mr Warrington has installed them.

We are organising a Gambia Day to raise money to buy a new computer for Bakau Newtown which is our twinned school in Gambia.  On Friday 2nd December we would like you to come to school in the colours of the Gambian flag - red, blue and green.  If everyone could bring £1 we will soon be able to buy a computer for them. UPDATE - A brilliant £220 was raised during the day.  Thank you to everyone who supported this.  We are in the process of buying a tablet for our Gambian school.

Thank you

School Council

Every week KS1 and KS2 have their school council assemblies to talk about recent things that have happened in school during the last week. The school council's aim is to help to our school to continue to be a better place for everyone.

Each term a new set of school council members are voted by the year group they are in. The year sixes are the head of school council and read out the news from each class.

Every week the year 5 and 6 representatives meet after school to discuss any ideas or problems that have been raised.  From these a topic is chosen for our next School Council Assembly.

In the assembly everyone has the chance to suggest ideas and opinions.
