Y5 visited Ashfield Fire Station on Tuesday 21st June for a Safety Zone workshop. All the children were well behaved and wrote thank you letters to the organisers. This was the reply they received:- Hi, My name is Andy Oxnard. I work for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service and co-ordinate the Safety Zone event at Ashfield Fire Station that your school recently attended. I have just read the fantastic letters that your children wrote saying how much they enjoyed Safety Zone. I really appreciate this and it certainly put a smile on my face. I am so pleased that you all enjoyed the visit and I hope that you all learnt something about safety. I have passed these letters on to Mr Smith.
