Whole school visit to church for a service led by Year 5 pupils (19th October)


Year 5 children take part in the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph (11th November)

Children raise money for Children in Need (18th November) 

Harworth and Bircotes Fire Fighters joined us for our Merit Assembly to talk about keeping safe on Bonfire Night (November)


Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Year 3 performed the Nativity (14th December)

Year 6 children visit Brailsford House Care Home to perform Christmas carols (16th December)

The whole school explored the story of Christmas and we did a pilgrimage of the story. We all completed a piece of art work inspired by an original painting and asked great big questions to develop our understanding of the Christmas story and why it is important to Christians


Children from year 3 - 6 took part in the Young Voices Concert at Sheffield Arena (10th January)

Year 3 and 4 have cycling training including a short course on how to ride a bike (18th, 19th & 25th January)

All staff have Health and Safety Training (24th January)

Year 6 children visit the Holocaust Museum (26th January)


 Year 1 & 3 visit All Saints Church for a visit lead by Church Wardens and Governors Mr Batty and Mrs Wilson (3rd February)

A small group of children take part in the swimming gala (24th February)

Year 4 have a visit from The Vikings (28th February)

Year 2 visit the Harworth and Bircotes Fire Station (28th February)


We celebrated World Book Day (3rd March)

We celebrate E-Safety Day and raise awareness of how to stay safe online (7th March)

We celebrated British Science Week (13th - 17th March)

We have our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Easter Coffee mornings where our children lead the worship with families, friends, peers, staff and governors (17th & 24th March)

We have raised money for the Red Nose Day appeal (24th March)

Reverend Frank visits us to lead us in a special Easter Collective Worship (27th March)

The school was host to a Lent Course with the Archdeacon David of Newark from the Nottinghamshire & Southwell Diocese over the four weeks (March & April)

Year 5 begin their swimming lessons from 8th March - July.

Year 5 children have continued to work on their cycling skills (10th May)

Year 6 children continue to learn to ride their bikes safely (Throughout May)
