Dear Parents/Carers I am very proud to announce that we have gained a very special award for P.E and school sports. We have been award the Silver School Games Mark. The School Games Mark is an award which we have been lucky enough to receive due to our level of competition and our participation in school sports this academic year. The School Games are a unique opportunity to motivate and inspire millions of young people to take part in more competitive school sports. In the next academic year we will receive our official recognition of this award which will be in pride of place near the office however keep an eye on the school website for the official photograph too. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the children who have represented our school in competitions, festivals and training. Every time you attend these events you make all the staff extremely proud of your achievements. I would also like to thank the parents who have supported us and helped with transport throughout the year. Finally, we have lots more exciting after school clubs planned for next academic year which will be in preparation for more competitions and events. We will then be applying for the School Games Gold Mark in the following years.
